• Exposure. We are active in our community, with fans throughout Michigan and beyond. Our combined online social media currently reaches an audience of over 4,750 people. Plus there are over 30 roller derby leagues in Michigan alone, which means plenty of cross-exposure for your business.
• Loyalty. Our fans love us, and they will love you for loving us. According to a survey on wftda.com, 82% of the fans know the businesses that support their teams, and over 95% hold a favorable opinion of these businesses.
• Consumers. According to WFTDA’s Demographic Survey, over 55% of roller derby fans have an annual household income over $50,000, and 83% of fans have at least some college education.
Why does a league need sponsors?
The Brighton Roller Dollz league is mostly funded by the skaters. We pay for our own equipment, rink time and other miscellaneous expenses. Unfortunately, putting on public events is costly, and this is where we need your support. Your sponsorship dollars will go toward jerseys, advertising, programs, rink time, emergency medical staff, first aid equipment, referees, insurance, and more. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which means your donation is tax-deductible.
